we pride ourselfs in being a quaint classic english tea room which has been a pillar of daily life on this island for over a decade wheather it be with our locals or with tourist. we are a family run business offering a haven of relaxation, and a beautiful alfresco here on our market street over looking our victorian covered market the one and only market on the island in the vibrant heart of st helier, its an important and integral part of the jersey heritage and a source of pride to the people of jersey. its where we buy all our local fresh ingrediants from wether its meat and fish or vegetables and herbs.

if you need a light lunch or a satisfying hot meal then look no further! we offer a tempting choice of freshly prepared, savoury light-bites or main dishes and soups of the day and we also offer childrens portions on anything we sell.

afternoon tea is a classic british ritual and the pleasure lies in the decadence and the daintiness of it all! but ours is unique with our jersey cream tea seved with pure good old fasioned traditional english loose tea leaves freshly baked raisen scone with our amaizing homemade strawberry jam and jersey clotted cream, a sachet of real jersey butter and a slab of stunning fruit cake. 

We aim to treat you to a memorable experience that you will want to return to again and again 

because we care.

We are a homely, cosy welcoming tea room that offers an array of choice wheather that be delicious homemade cuisine or our wide selection of  china green, darjeeling, camomile, peppermint or fruit teas.
